I began my study of psychology as an undergraduate at Northwestern University. When I started my doctoral studies at the University of Oregon, I had an aspiration of being a psychology professor.

For the past decade, I have conducted and published psychological research related to cultural diversity. I have served on various local and national committees focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). I offer diversity training and consultation on DEI issues using a trauma-informed lens.

I started my own healing journey from trauma in graduate school. Having walked through this transformative journey, I carry immense hope and compassion for those recovering from trauma and PTSD. My two-year residency specifically focused on PTSD. Previously, I have worked with children and adults with trauma in a variety of contexts. My approach to healing integrates evidence-based psychological principles with spiritual practices.
